Our Message of Hope

  1. God loves us and offers us hope! "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
  2. We have all sinned and are separated from God. "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
  3. Jesus took care of the sin problem by dying for us. "But God demonstrates His own love of us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
  4. We must each, individually receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (Jesus speaking) "Here I am! I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in..." Revelation 3:20

John 1:12 says, "yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God." You receive Jesus, simply by asking Him into your heart!

Dear Jesus, I need you. I know I have sinned and I know you died on the cross to pay for my sins. Right now, I invite you into my heart and life, asking you to be my Savior and Lord. Thank you for your forgiveness and for giving me eternal life. Now make me the type of person you want me to be. Amen

There is no magic to this prayer but instead, it is the attitude of your heart that counts. You may or may not feel different but if you were serious with God, then He was serious with you! You can count on God, In Revelation 3:20, Jesus said that He would come into your heart if you asked.

This is a relationship and not a religion. Jesus came to this earth to bring us back to God not to start a new religion (a set of do's and dont's). Now that you have begun this exciting relationship with the Lord, there are three things that will help you grow in that relationship.

First, begin to read the Bible on a daily basis. As a new Christian, I would suggest starting in the book of John.

Second, begin to pray daily to the Lord. This is simply talking to Him and telling Him how you feel.

Third, find a good, Bible-believing church where you can learn more about the Lord.
