Hoops of Hope Basketball Ministry is dedicated to bringing the world the hope of the gospel and seeks to impact eternity and grow God’s kingdom through the platform of basketball in its different forms (shows, camps, tournaments and exhibition games). New believers are then entrusted into the care of the local church.

What is Hoops of Hope?

Hoops of Hope is a Basketball Ministry that focuses on spreading the gospel through their incredible ball handling show, basketball camps, speaking at public and private school assemblies, 'Upward Basketball' award banquets, basketball tournaments and exhibition basketball games. Our most recent project is the "Building a Better Basketball Player" basketball instructional DVD set. These Basketball DVDs supplement the "Building a Better Basketball Player" instructional booklet which was developed by Brent "Hoops' Fuqua as a way to build basketball skills through drills, shooting exercises, and an understanding of teamwork.

Hoops of Hope has visited schools, prisons and churches throughout the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Krygyzstan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas, Mexico, Peru, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa and across the U.S. Literally thousands of people young and old alike learn from Brent and Kevin’s expertise each year, while being exposed to the Good News of the Gospel.
